Half scarf, half hat: full babushka. The EDIE is a packable, all weather hat made from vintage scarves. Made in small batches by independent artisans in New York City’s garment district. The innovative design allows the hat to be worn in a variety of ways: tied under the chin for wind and rain protection, tied behind the head for beachy sun protection, the list goes on. The EDIE is elasticated and adjustable to fit most heads. Named after Highdive designer Lila’s favorite film ‘Grey Gardens’ and its iconic star, Little Edie.
This collection of Paisley print EDIES is made from vintage scarves in 100% silk.
Each EDIE is made from vintage scarves and you can expect minor signs of wear on the scarf. They are sold as is; Final sale. Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. Warm iron if needed.
